Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated August 26, 2026
These terms are a standard website agreement for UrBooked, a booking product for beauty salons. They are not a claim of legal review. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact hello@urbooked.net.
The service
UrBooked lets a salon publish a booking page, take appointments and walk-ins, manage team schedules, and collect card deposits. Each salon gets a URL on urbooked.net. We also offer an optional custom marketing website as a separate project. We are not a marketplace: we do not sell your appointments to the public or take a cut of what clients pay you.
Who may use it
You must be 18 or older and able to form a contract. If you create a salon for a business, you promise you have authority to do so. You are responsible for the people you invite as staff and for the clients who book through your page.
Accounts and trial
Keep your login confidential. The public 30-day trial does not require a card. After the trial, paid plans are priced on the pricing page (Chair, Studio, Suite). We may suspend or close an account that is unused, unpaid, or in breach of these terms.
Salon and client data
You own the content you enter (services, hours, photos, notes). You grant us a license to host and display it so the product can work. Clients who book with you share their name and contact details with your salon. You must use that information only to provide the appointment and related salon service, and you must follow privacy law that applies to you. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect as the software operator.
Payments and deposits
Card deposits on appointments are processed by Stripe. You set deposit and cancellation rules for your salon. Chargebacks, refunds, and no-show disputes are between you, the client, and Stripe. UrBooked is not the merchant of record for your service tickets.
Acceptable use
Do not use UrBooked to break the law, send spam, impersonate someone, attack the service, scrape other salons, store illegal content, or interfere with another shop’s bookings. Do not try to bypass payment, login, or reserved URLs. We may remove content or close an account that harms the service or other users.
Availability
We aim to keep booking pages up, but the service is provided “as is.” Hosting, email, and card processing can fail. You should keep your own copy of critical appointments if you need a backup outside UrBooked.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, UrBooked is not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, missed walk-ins, reputational harm, or indirect damages. Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for UrBooked in the three months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you have not paid us. Some states do not allow these limits; in those places the limit is the minimum the law requires.
Indemnity
You will defend and hold UrBooked harmless from claims that arise from your salon’s use of the product, your content, your client relationships, or your breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the new terms.
